Copper and Nickel.  This lead free Nickel Babbitt metal bar’s composition is the highest quality material available for re-surfacing Babbitt Bearings. 4X Nickel Babbitt metal comes in 5.5-lb. to 6-lb. notched ingots. Use companion product Johnson’s E-127 Tinning paste in 4lb. jars for pre-tinning cast iron bearing shells.
